According to the evaluation of Doctor of historical sciences Nikolai Mollerov, it is with the publication of this milestone work that the author's "star lit up" on the sky of scientific and scholarly endeavor.
The book was received with immense interest by the specialists. In the spring of 2009, at the Tuvan Institute of Humanitarian research of Government of RT, a meeting was held of the staff with the author of this publication. The journal "New Research of Tuva" has published several reviews of this work. The work of this scholar attracted attention of the politicians of the republic as well, who carefully studied the work and also quoted the author in their presentations. The first 2008 edition of the monograph was approved by the decision of the sector of social philosophy of the Philosophy Institute of Russian Academy of Sciences.
The second edition contains corrections and additional material, which Ch. Lamajaa added, based on newly published scholarly literature about Tuva from 2008-2010, on her own evaluation of events in contemporary history of Tuva, as well as on scholarly discussions about the course of modernization of Russia, which was introduced in 2009 by the President of the country. The book is published in an issue of 1000 volumes. Part of them (200 specimens) have been obtained by the Ministry of Culture of Republic Tyva; the books will be received by all the libraries of Tuva, and some volumes will be sold at the Tuvan Institute of Humanitarian research. The rest of the issue will be distributed by the largest bookseller organizations of Russia with which the publishing house "Aleteya" co-operates, as well as through the Internet.
